Copyright violations

Most of this article seems to be cribbed directly from the show's [website; comparison of the character listings especially indicates that 90 percent is copy-and-pasted, with some added sentences between the ones taken from the page. Might I suggest that active editors of this article please go through and rewrite this substantially; if that's not done shortly, the character section at least will have to be blanked and started from scratch. Since nothing was done since I left that last message, I've gone through and rewritten a few of the character bios, and blanked several others where there was absolutely nothing there for me to work with. Why Does "Pine Hollow" Redirect to This Article?

Pine Hollow is a series of books written by Bonnie Bryant, a spinoff from the Saddle Club Books. This article is about a TV show. The TV show is not at all related to the Pine Hollow Series (as it is based on the Saddle Club series), so there should be seperate articles for each subject. Were "Pine Hollow" and "The Saddle Club" merged at one point? WesternRider 03:20, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

October 2007 Discussion of Article Split

While editing the article that notice that the article length is a 38Kb, which is 6Kb over the recommend 32Kb for article size. While I concede that it is a rather trivial figure, I would like to recommend the section “episode guide” be split to the new article List of Saddle club episodes so both articles have space expand, especially in light of an upcoming third season. Third Season mention

Ultimately, I reviewing some the episodes that have been broadcast in north america, I think it would be best reword mention of a third season" to something that was planned but for whatever reason, fell throught.

Doing some informal research, a third season is very unlikely citing the current age of the actors and the length of time that has passed since the saddleclub site was updated. I did find this one fansite goining into detail mentioning that all horses who participate have been sold or put to pasture and property that depicted pine hollow was sold.

Does anyone have any information that can contradict all this?--Kevin586 (talk) 15:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Doubts about the third season of the Saddle club.

I have modified the article introduction because I am still not convinced about the claims for a third season of the saddle club because the information so far is in my eyes rather dubious and possibly out of date.

Starting with the official website's notice for a third season (and I think the author made the same declaration in a episode broadcast on PBS) these claims have been vague and out of date, never giving dates any aspects of production or updating their content, at least according to the MSN group that has been tracking the cast after the 2004 cancellation. Granted I am a American editor, one would think official website would have been updated with the new cast and their would be some mention Australian news sources.

Recently, an anonymous user has called my attention a blurb on horsewyse magazine but I am still not convinced by claims nor the addition of third season cast because I have still not seen any dates relating to production schedules or premier. I figure that Until there is more and indisputable evidence, it can be concluded that negotiations for a third season failed and this program would probably fall into a List of television series canceled before airing an episode.--Kevin586 (talk) 03:39, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Character section split

I've noted that The Saddle Club article is now 68K in size. Wikipedia:Splitting states that articles 60K or larger in size "probably should be divided." Per Wikipedia guidelines, that's what I'm going to do. 青い(Aoi) (talk) 07:27, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Please don't do it - with the fansite suggestion of this article your efforts would best be applied reducing the minutiae of the character enteries; heck some of those character entries could be deleted without any effect on article.--Kevin586 (talk) 17:23, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

It's not messing around. It's cutting it down to acceptable limits for an encyclopedia. However, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, and most of the items I removed were pretty indiscriminate. --Patar knight - ^chat/_{contributions} 23:04, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

HorseGirl070605, these other editors are working in good faith, please realize that. They are not trying to put down your contributions. They are trying to make this encyclopedia better. All contributions to Wikipedia must meet Wikipedia's policies; otherwise, the quality of the encyclopedia will decrease. I appreciate that you are trying to improve these articles to your liking, but all of your contributions must meet Wikipedia's quality standards and some of them currently do not. The other editors are trying to altar your contribution so they do meet the standards. By disregarding the opinions of your fellow editors, you are decreasing the quality of Wikipedia. Saddle Club Websites

MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter provides information about The Saddle Club that Wikipedia doesn't have. I checked and MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter comply with Wikipedia's guide lines.
