Compliation vs Studio album

edit

It's not a studio album. Mathematics confirmed that calling "Wu-Tang record" but not an official album. It was promoted that way and it's simply album with Wu-Tang members on Mathematics beats. There's no even U-God on it. Tashi Talk to me 21:33, 22 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Most studio albums don't have U-God on them. Nothing about this makes it a compilation album. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 02:06, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Then why albums like Wu-Tang Chamber Music or Legendary Weapons considered Wu-Tang official albums? Tashi Talk to me 15:56, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Tashi: I don't know--you'll have to ask them. But I have a citation saying that this is a [proper] Wu-Tang Clan album. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:21, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Your citation doesn't say it's Wu-Tang studio album. It says it's a Wu-Tang (no Clan added) record and that's true. Tashi Talk to me 14:51, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Whether it's a studio or compilation album is besides the point...it's not a wu-tang-clan album and the title of the article should be corrected. 82.39.251.66 (talk) 13:21, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
It is still a Studio album. This is NOT a compilation album (that would imply it's a collection of previously released tracks, and it is not). 86.3.99.21 (talk) 19:35, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reason for U-God not present is not sourced

edit

This article claims u-god isn't on this album because of royalty issues. The source linked to this states that 1. U-God is not present on the album and 2. that U-God sued Wu last year. There is nothing that says u-god is not present as a result of him sueing.

In fact, multiple members have sued rza/wu tang music in the past and make appearances on this record. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.39.251.66 (talk) 13:18, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
