Beginnings of Guiding in Guyana
editI have a note from a History of Scouting in Guyana that states that "It is worth mentioning here that it was in New Amsterdam, Berbice, that Guiding started in 1924 - and not in Georgetown, the capital of Guyana." I have no further information. Nick Taylor 18:57, 9 June 2006 (UTC).
Presidents and Commissioners
editI have entered information on Presidents and Commissioners of the Scout Association of Guyana, ending in 1952. The Scouters Newsletter that I got this information from was published in 1953. I am working on getting more recent information. --Nick Taylor 15:16, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on The Scout Association of Guyana. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20081003105651/http://www.solutions2000.net:80/scouting/index.html to http://www.solutions2000.net/scouting/index.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
