References
editI was looking at the references and it seems to be mainly "Richmond". This seems to be a reference to The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family, because Ray Richmond was the editor of that book. This is cool but can we put the proper reference format for books (I think its something like this Ritter, R. (2002). The Oxford Style Manual. Oxford University Press.) This needs to be addressed especially since its an FA nominee --Simpsons fan 66 22:56, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- The current format is fine, its what's encouraged. The full format is included at the top of the references section. Also, despite being listed as the editor, Richmond is definitly the author of the book, it just means he edited the info from the episodes together into a book. Gran2 07:19, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Season 6 - Standard edition DVD
editRecently I've been looking for the Standard edition box set of Season 6. From what I've been told, the standard edition is out of print. Should we put this on the page or should we attempt to find proof of this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Firebomb 87 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- Standard version is not out of print, at least not in the UK. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.171.50 (talk) 20:56, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Consensus on links
editI added a link to a Season 6 DVD page - [1] with lots of information. It appears to be removed as "link to fan site"? What kind of reason is this for removal? It's certainly a more valid link that the BBC guide page (they don't even air the show any more). I thought the point of links was to provide more information on a topic, beyong the scope of Wikipedia? (In which case, the official guide and tv.com links are useless, too). 87.114.171.50 (talk) 21:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- WP:EL. I'd like to link to fansites, but I don't made the rules. Gran2 21:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see anything in there on fansites, unless they come under "personal web pages". (Fan sites, by the way, are linked liberally throughout WP.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.171.50 (talk) 23:53, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

"Highest rated" issue
edit- The wording is ambiguous over being about viewership share, or audience approval.
- It is specifically referring to IMDb scores, not a more academic or journalistic source.
I am moving this to Reception and rewording it, but as it's an FA, I invite discussion. Occono (talk) 15:04, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
