Overall: Dcdiehardfan everything is really good except the hook needs work. Creating a five mile highway for a single scene of a single episode of a TV show is quite something, also currently the hook reads like the episode title is the name of the series or movie. I'd suggest something like ..... that the production team of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV series created a highway over five miles long to capture visual effects for a truck action sequence for the episode "The Star-Spangled Man"?
I haven't seen the show so I don't understand the signifcance of the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr, if this could be explained more clearly in the article and hook that could be an option but currently it just sounds like a random fact. The development section mentions that the series deals with race once but this isn't clear how or mentioned in the hook Source: https://www.vfxvoice.com/taking-flight-with-the-falcon-and-the-winter-soldier/ John Cummings (talk) 11:07, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

Thanks to Dcdiehardfan and Favre1fan93 for taking part in the process and creating alternative hooks, I think we got to a really good place with it :) John Cummings (talk) 10:26, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
- Might I suggest these as alternates?

- @John Cummings: Let me know if you have thoughts about the three alts I provided, if those are any better. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:56, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Favre1fan93: and @John Cummings: Thank you both for your responses. I accept Favre's ideas, and went ahead and will propose my own slate below, as I still want to retain some elements across while also incorporating the feedback. I liked the MLK Jr reference as I felt it would appeal to the general public, but I better understand the concerns since I'm not sure if I can concisely describe that context, I think I'll nix it for now and use 5m-highway as the main hook, if that's ok with Favre. I choose Favre's Star Spangled Man as my new 2nd, but still want to stick with my Hobbit one. So my ideal slate is looking like this (obviously subject to change and a WIP):

- A more concise version of ALT6 is ALT9: ... that the set for the The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode "The Star-Spangled Man" included a purpose-built five mile highway?--Launchballer 23:50, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
I'm not going to propose a good article for deletion but this seems to fail WP:GNG. There's only one source that talks about this specific episode in detail and it's a review from within a week of release. Traumnovelle (talk) 19:27, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- This article is full of well-sourced information about the making of and reception to this episode, even if it wasn't a good article it would not be deleted for failing WP:GNG. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:29, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't say it wasn't sourced - the sources don't mention it in detail as a separate episode rather than part of the show. Traumnovelle (talk) 19:41, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- The key information included here is specific about this episode, not the series in general. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:51, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

- There is a bunch of reliably sourced production and reception information about this episode. This series was heavily covered by multiple sources week after week for each episode, so naturally much of the sources at the time of this episode's release were talking about the episodes that had released by then, including this one. The content speaks for itself. Unless there is a more solid argument for how this actually could not meet GNG, I see no issue here. It was already approved for GA status, so I feel like if there were serious issues, they would have been addressed already. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:08, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
