I added material and moved material from the vague section "Commentary " into the section "adaptations" or a new section "interpretations".
Currently, a single sentence left in the commentary section, that I do not understand/agree with (I do not see the analogy) The Story of the Youth tale is as pointed out in the lead its own AT type. I also do not see it properly sourced. The ref is for the Gallows tale, but not for the claim of analogy. So it appears to be WP:OR or a synthesis at best. I flagged it, am asking for input rather than deleting it. --Wuerzele (talk) 23:34, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

I propose to add a link to "The Tale of Thorstein Shiver" in the also see also section, a 13th century Icelandic short story about a man, who learns to shiver and is believed to be a strong influence of this tale. Grim (talk) 20:39, 19 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
