NPOV

Reads like a puff piece, and that no one has a bad word to say about them which is clearly not the case.--Pontificalibus (talk) 14:07, 21 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Should this be Tallis Scholars ? -- Beardo 00:48, 9 September 2006 (UTC)npovReply

I have moved -- Beardo 05:58, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not per WP:THE and by analogy with The Beatles, so I have requested it be moved back.--ukexpat (talk) 18:30, 18 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Bought a church?

edit

I've read that they bought St Peter and St Paul's Church in Salle, Norfolk because they are particular about the acoustic in which they record, and this church fitted the bill perfectly. But I can't find any online confirmation of this. True or not? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 21:22, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's still listed on the C of E website so sounds unlikely.--ukexpat (talk) 21:45, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Monetization

edit

I noticed recently (when an advertisement popped up in the middle) that the Gimmel recording of Spem in Alium is being monetized by YouTube as "Fifty Shades of Grey". Was it actually the Tallis Scholars version that was used in the movie? If so, this article ought to discuss how did they decide to sell it and where are the profits going. Singular or Plural

edit

"The Tallis Singers" is the group's name and therefore is singular not plural, which makes for a lot of awkward sentences, but either way the article should be consistent Wackyboutwiki (talk) 08:11, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
