This article has multiple issues

edit

It has been tagged as "unreferenced" since December 2008. I have now added a couple of references but these are only from the subjects' own website and this doesn't really meet Wikipedia's standards. The article needs expansion and the addition of reliable third party references to avoid deletion. I also have my doubts as to whether the subject meets Wikipedia's Notability Guidelines. If anyone would like to discuss this comment, please post a message on my Talk page.--Plad2 (talk) 07:02, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Comedy fiction

edit

Today I combined the series subsections 3.2 to 3.7 under new subsection heading 3.2 Juvenile fiction series and added the other two of seven "Fiction Series" as catalogued in ISFDB (eg, Barlow at ISFDB). I added this page to categories English fantasy writers and English science fiction writers.

ISFDB labels six of its seven listed series, or their component books, "juvenile fantasy" and "juvenile sf". In effect the 'Juvenile' section heading represents my judgment concerning the other two series now in section 3.2, Lost Diaries (not catalogued by ISFDB) and Star Bores (not labeled by ISFDB).

I wonder whether "comedy fiction" is the best overall classification. P.S. We have Category:Comedy fiction writers with only 5 pages now. --P64 (talk) 22:31, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Skidmore picture books

edit

Two 1990 picture books(?) written by Skidmore and illustrated by Thompson Yardley, are Skidmore's second- and third-most widely held works in WorldCat libraries [1].

P.S. The counts are low, merely 395 and 386 member libraries--and 459 for Barlow & Skidmore, Friend or foe? (2002). Evidently few WorldCat libraries acquire their books. --P64 (talk) 22:47, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
