edit- I can attest to the fact this valley very much belongs in "Category:Wine regions of the United States" its packed with wineries. Goldenrowley 19:55, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Again this article is about the novel not the Valley or the wine region. As a member of the Wine Project, I would wholeheartedly support the creation of the Valley of the Moon (wine region) article and its inclusion into the Category:Wine regions of the United States but take a look at the other entries in the cat and you will see an article about a novel is not appropriate. - Okay, that's fine I'll put a split flag on it. Goldenrowley 00:32, 22 September 2007 (UTC) -- the (split I suggested: Valley of the Moon (novel) and Valley of the Moon (region))
- I would strongly support such as a split. As I do more research on the wine regions within the Sonoma County AVA, I am beginning to see how significant the Valley of the moon region is. AgneCheese/Wine 03:56, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I just found a reliable source that says that the Sonoma Valley is also known as the Valley of the Moon.[1] Maybe it would be just be better to make Valley of the Moon (region) and Valley of the Moon (wine region) redirects? AgneCheese/Wine 04:12, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- okay with me if you move the legend to "sonoma valley" as LONG as there's disambiguatuon and as long as we can rename this page Valley of the Moon (novel). Goldenrowley 07:18, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds perfect. Though I did make one minor tweak. I moved the (wine region) redirect to the actual article on the Sonoma Valley wine region Sonoma Valley AVA. The main Sonoma Valley article is more for the general geographical area while the AVA is more specific to the wine region. AgneCheese/Wine 08:05, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
