There was a Cdn contestant!
editI don't remember that being announced at all - and I didn't know it was possible. Nice to see a BC boy, even if he didn't get far. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.1.196.57 (talk) 23:17, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Already famous contestants
editI was talking to a friend about the show and he mentioned something about a disclaimer about contestants who were already famous. I didn't see this but was wondering if anyone had any additional information that we might be able to include in this page. crazzycorbe (talk) 01:14, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
Coaches' and Contestants' Choices Colors
editShould there be a different color for Contestant defaulted to this coach's team and Contestant elected to join this coach's team crazzycorbe (talk) 01:14, 7 February 2012 (UTC) Upon closer inspection I see that they are indeed different colors but they are very similar so it's hard to tell. crazzycorbe (talk) 01:16, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
- Actually one is yellow, the other orange. Close colours, but adequately distinct I thought. werldwayd (talk) 17:20, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Ages and locations of lesser known contestants
editUnfortunately some of the contestants passed too quickly and some details were not announced (age, location). Can anybody help for these contestants of season 2?:
- Ben Baxter
- TJ Gibson
- Aly Jados
- Sam Jones
- Nathan Parrett (a finalist)
- Brian Fuente (a finalist)
- Moses Stone (a finalist)

The problem there is that would be considered original research unless there is a clear link from information provided by the broadcast itself or related official show literature. If it's not officially from the producers or the network, it's subject to being challenged and deleted. 70.124.91.11 (talk) 21:07, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
Episode titles
editThe episode titles are listed as "Blind Auditions, Week 1", but my cable listings for the episodes show the titles as "The Blind Auditions, Part 1" ("part" instead of "week", plus "the"), and the NBC site (Season 2) lists the previous episodes as "Blind Auditions, Part 1" (same as the cable listings, except no "the"). I'm guessing there is some other source for the "week" title? --ΨΦorg (talk) 08:26, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Confirmed Battles
editIf you look in the previews you can see some of the other confirmed battles. I saw Tony Lucca v. Chris Cauley, Monique Benabou v. Chris Mann, and Lee Koch v. Lindsey Pavao sing "Heart Shaped Box" by Nirvana. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.244.6.245 (talk) 12:18, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Advisors
editFor the battle round section, can you add the name of the advisor to the associated artist? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.237.2.117 (talk) 02:40, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- They're neither contestants nor judges, and their input is minimally relevant to the contest's outcome, so why take up the real estate on the page? Absurdist1968 (talk) 14:59, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
It does have an impact, actually. Different advisers have different styles so they'd suit a type of artist better. Like Miranda Lambert being paired with RaeLynn, Ne-Yo with Juliet Simmms and Angie Johnson, Lionel Richie for Geoff McBride. That's all the pairings I can remember off-hand where I felt like the adviser helped the artists' performances.
It may be difficult to orientate in a table, though.
Recap Results Tables
editWorking out very nice, but the "did not perform that week" designation doesn't apply if each table is unique to a team, since every week that a team performs, all members of that team will be performing, and no information is included for weeks that the respective teams aren't performing. Different Color For Instant Elimination
editI think on the smaller table, (I don't even really understand the more detailed one for the live shows) contestants who were eliminated by the instant eliminations in the quarter finals should somehow be shown to be instantly eliminated (perhaps by color). Otherwise one wouldn't be able to tell that Cheesa for example lasted longer than James Massone, but she did. You can say you can see it by the order but the order doesn't matter in the earlier rounds so it would be hard to know there's a difference here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.174.180.114 (talk) 02:06, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
