Merge
editShouldn't this be merged with The Wanted (album) since it's basically just an EP edition of their UK album for the US market.--z33k (talk) 17:51, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

editMoving
editStatus (talk · contribs) and Tomica (talk · contribs) - this is fucking ridiculous. Both of you should know better than to be move warring. STOP moving the article back and forth and discuss the disagreement here. NYSMy talk page 02:53, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Requested move

The result of the move request was: Moved to The Wanted (EP) after no consensus. With no consensus and no real prospects of developing one, we go back to the first title of this article of the two possible names, which is shown at the diff provided below. The Wanted: The EP → The Wanted (EP) – I know there has been a lot of disagreements over the title, but this is its name on iTunes, so I trust it. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 15:32, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Support. That's the real name of the extended play. — Tomíca(T2ME) 15:36, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. The album cover itself and the band's official web store (Google it, the link is on spam filter) does not agree. iTunes is not the be all end all. — Statυs (talk, contribs) 02:12, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- Even so, the title would not be at The Wanted (EP), but at The Wanted (2012 album). An EP is a type of album; we do not say The Wanted (studio album). — Statυs (talk, contribs) 02:14, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- What about Cannibal (EP)? 2012 album is incorrect as it is not a full album, just an EP, and the year is used solely when the same artist release two albums with the same name in different years, like Chayanne (1987 album) and Chayanne (1988 album). Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 01:47, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- Cannibal (Kesha album), actually. An EP is just a type of album. Whether it's a full album or not holds no relevance to the matter. — Statυs (talk, contribs) 01:53, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- In fact it does. Hurt: The EP is not an studio album, is a single. The difference of Extended play and studio album exists for a reason (whichever it is). You can't change their definition in Wikipedia by your own ideas and perform undiscussed moves, especially if there is a consistency throughout the website. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? - According to what? What is Hurt: The EP supposed to prove? I don't see it being called Hurt (EP. I'm not changing any definition, I am applying the naming customs to the project, which says to use "album". — Statυs (talk, contribs) 23:03, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

- Comment What most references say (ignoring "official names"); external sources demostrate the common name rather the official name. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 01:47, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
