The Welding Institute is a well-known research organisation and, amongst other things, the inventor of Friction Stir Welding, which has a Wiki page. It deserves a page describing the organisation.
A page posted in 2008 was deleted but without satisfactory explanation.
A page was resubmitted on 6 March 2009 but this was modified by someone on 13 and 17 March. This content had libellous inaccuracies. I replaced it with content on the history of the organisation on 18 March.
