Broadcast time

What time of day was this broadcast on Granada? I have memories of watching this during the day, in the Southern Television area. I was only a nipper though, so my memory can't be trusted. Anyone know if I'm right or wrong? Pollythewasp (talk) 10:34, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

BBC vs Commercial TV

Not only would I suggest that the above is irrelevant: it is also wrong, and Mr Blythe, to whom the attribution to Lew Grade is given, appears in error. The quote on commercial television being "a licence to print money" is attributed to Roy Thomson, later Lord Thomson, the founder of Scottish Television . The quote is also referred to in the Daily Telegraph of 22 January 1971, shown in facsimile in the article here: http://www.transdiffusion.org/2015/02/16/bottom-line
