Macintosh Version
editThe initial release of this game was on the Macintosh. "PC" usually implies Windows PC. But it did not come out for Windows until after the Mac version was released. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.6.84.255 (talk) 08:26, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
- FWIW: That is not true. The "PC"-version was a hybrid Windows/Macintosh version. Unless you can provide a link were a Mac only version is shown? --CayceP (talk) 10:17, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
Inactive Icons
editThere is information on this page that states the emotion icons in the Hanger where Willmore meets X are inactive on the PlayStation version. Although I have no way to prove it, I own the PlayStation version and I have never had a problem with this, I have activated all 3 emotion choices and it has always worked fine for me.
---
Hmmm...it's never worked for me on the Playstation version. My friend and I played 2 different games on 2 seperate machines and the end result was always the same - it skipped the emotion selection for X. We'll need more testimonies from other owners really. I own the PC version and the PSone has been altered to make space. By how much though I don't know, since I haven't played through either version in a long time.
---
Works for me. Just press 'circle' when the icons show up and they are selectable. I have literally just finished the game this minute. If absolutely required then I can put video evidence online but I suggest you just try it yourself as I can't really be bothered getting to that point in the game again. Well, I've scrapped that small section because it was verging on speculation more than fact. Feel free to mess around with it but I think it would work better removed since there's no real references to back it up. It might have something to do with different PAL/NTSC versions or it could be something else entirely. I really don't know, so it's best to just leave for now.
Fair use rationale for Image:The X-Files- The Game.jpg
editImage:The X-Files- The Game.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
