Sing off is Questionable in its Purpose for Eliminating Contestants.

[1]

Ronan criticised Kyle for admitting he started leaning towards keeping Amanda in the competition after her outstanding vocals on her showdown performance, but had already made up his mind that he would send Amanda home regardless.

Ronan suggested that this "Sing Off" should be eliminated from the contest, as the performers were not being judged on this at all.

During the judging of the final performance, Guy Sebastian says that he agreed with Ronan regarding Amanda's performance and her value to the industry, however says consistency over the whole competition is more important and is why he is voting for Indi over Amanda, this was the eliminating vote.

On FaceBook [2] the public are voicing their dissatisfaction with the voting results and methods, and feel that Amanda should not have gone, some are hoping for a "Wild Card" opportunity for Amanda to return to the program.

Reality Ravings also question the "sing off" [3]

Page move?

edit

As this is a revised series and not the second season to the 2005 edition maybe the title of the page should be The X Factor (Australia 2010) — Preceding unsigned comment added by XtraT (talkcontribs) 19:34, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
