Editor 89.139.164.40 reverted my edit to this page with the edit summary: but doesn't Italian use guillemet and therefore requires script titles?

Italian may use guillemets but Wikipedia does not. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Quotation marks.

The purpose of |script-title= is to isolate text of languages that should not be rendered in italics (Chinese, Cyrillic, Thai, etc) and/or that reads right-to-left (Arabic, Hebrew, etc). If a source title is written in a Latin based script, as Italian is, then the source title belongs in |title=, not |script-title=
