Duplicate article

Why do we have both Nineteenth-century theatrical scenery and Theatrical scenery in the nineteenth century? They both started out as almost identical articles in December 2014. Thus this edit says it was declined because it duplicates another article. They still are almost the same article, except that each has accumulated slightly different edits since then.
