Jewel Carmen's house?
editAnybody know where Jewel Carmen's house where Thelma Dodd died was? --Ragemanchoo (talk) 07:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Birthdate
editHer death certificate and her grave marker both list the date of birth as 1906, not 1905. Wikipedia and IMDB list her birthdate as 1905. -- Dwhita1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.207.33.242 (talk) 03:33, 22 May 2008 (UTC) Thelma Todd was found murdered in her car in the garage up the hill from her restaurant. It was rumored that the mob murdered her because she refused to allow them to run gambling on the second floor of the restaurant.74.246.77.150 (talk) 20:40, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Burial
edit--94.192.171.205 (talk) 23:52, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Maybe i'm being too pedantic, but there is a part of the article that states that she was cremated and then it says she was buried. I'm not sure of the ins and outs of funerals but do people bury ashes?
- Sometimes they do. I've known of a few people who have. The article says "She was cremated and, after her mother's death, her remains were placed in her mother's casket and buried in Bellevue Cemetery in her hometown of Lawrence, Massachusetts." So I guess that's one way someone can be both cremated and buried. Rossrs (talk) 07:31, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
History's Mysteries as a source !?!
editSeriously? This article uses a trashy sensationalistic television program as if it were a legitimate source!?! You've got to be kidding. Ekwos (talk) 00:33, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- How does the article use the program as a source? I don't see one citation (in this or any previous incarnation of the article) citing the show as a reference. Far as I can tell, the article only recounts one of the many theories regarding Todd's death that the show covered. That's not even close to presenting what the series said about something as "a legitimate source". Further, if the series were cited, changing it is easy enough. Just as easy as complaining about something on the talk page, that's for sure. Pinkadelica♣ 08:26, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- You didn't look very hard. All you had to do is look at the latest revision prior to the timestamp of my remark. It was in the article, thus it is a source for a position (and a trashy TV show isn't a reliable source for anything other than the desire for ratings). Ekwos (talk) 20:49, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's been removed from the article so your complaint - and this conversation - is moot. Pinkadelica♣ 22:34, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Death of Thelma Todd
editIs there not enough information on Thelma Todd's death to have a separate article entitled Death of Thelma Todd? There are many conspiracies surrounding her death, and I was inquiring if such an article dedicated solely to her death warranted existence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DBelflower (talk • contribs) 14:03, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
