On 2 June 2019 the Series 41 MediaCityUk 2 edition of BBC's Antiques Roadshow featured an unsigned oil painting by Major, of two shadowy figures, gifted to the owner's mother, which was valued by fine art expert Lawrence Hendra at between £3,000 and £5,000: [1].
