This article is written in British English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, defence, artefact, analyse) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
This statement in the introduction is not mentioned or cited in the body of the article. "He largely withdrew from public life after 1666 and focused on building up his estates in County Sligo." Please fix.
In paragraph 7 of Irish Confederate Wars, I added this sentence because it was not immediately obvious to me, "Theophilus Jones now joined the Parliamentarian side." I hope this is correct.
Post 1653: "but Charles intervened to purchase his interest in the estate." (not clear) I think Charles II made sure that Jones received property of an equivalent value. Please state this, if it is correct.
Corrected; explaining all of it is complex and not really that interesting :), so I think the rewording is a reasonable explanation. Thanks. Robinvp11 (talk) 16:23, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
