Thierry translated as “Terry”?
editThe translation of “Thierry” as “Terry” is unusual; according to Wikipedia, Thierry is derived from “Theoderic”, which would be given as “Derek” in English. Terry is the diminutive form of “Terrence“. Is this translation given because it was actually used for a foreign-language version of the show (where the lip movement could be matched), or is it a mistake?
