Information I'd like to see
editWhat were the basic economics behind this game, particulalry the price point? Do we have any idea what total revenues were? TheGrappler (talk) 19:16, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- We don't include cost information (per WP:CATALOG) unless itself a subject of discussion (which wasn't in this case), and in the video game industry today, the reporting of sales figures are near impossible to get unless willingly released by developers. So it's very difficult to talk about the game economics here. --MASEM (t) 19:26, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. Is it not even possible to state whether this is some kind of budget game, a premium game, something comparable to a mobile phone app? I mean, this is a commercial product, but the article gives no clue about what end of the market this product was operating in. For comparison, articles about cars give some clue whether it was a budget, mid-range or luxury model. Obviously I haven't done an exhaustive search of the sources, but it would surprise me if nobody mentioned whether whatever the price was represented good value for money, given the short gameplay. - That's a good point, this is an indie game (which I've added as a link). While there is no fixed price point for indie games they tend to be from $5 to $20, depending on the size, compared to a full AAA title which today is around $50-60. --MASEM (t) 21:55, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
