Birthday
editThere appears to be conflicting reports about when Thomas was born. A number of other sites such as Answers.com and AOL Music say that he was born on January 1st. Is there any way to verify what the correct date is? --Chris Brennan 01:04, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Death?
editThomas isn't dead. What the heck? Somebody wrote he did February 23, 2010, which no one else has written on the internet. It's the 25th now, so, what is this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.100.224.217 (talk) 02:41, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, that's vandalism, which I have reverted. Welcome to Wikipedia. just64helpin (talk) 15:28, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Real Photo
editWhy is his real photo not shown? Daft Punk's policy of having their faces covered should not affect Wikipedia's own policy of allowing public figures face to be shown.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Hugopp (talk • contribs)
- The article lacks an unmasked photo of Bangalter simply because a free-use photo of Bangalter unmasked cannot be found. Free photos of Bangalter with the mask on are readily available because of the amount of people who were able to take photos of him during the Alive 2006/2007 tour. See WP:FUP regarding the use of images on Wikipedia. jhsounds (talk) 23:21, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

discography
editI think the discography might be incomplete... What about Spinal Scratch? Benjamin (talk) 03:28, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- Benjaminikuta, see WP:WPMAG or MOS:DISCOGRAPHY. - Live and compilation albums, EPs, singles, etc. should generally not be included. which most likely leaves his soundtrack album to Irreversible. The Daft Punk article has been following this guideline for a while. – TheGridExe (talk) 16:03, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, how unfortunate. Benjamin (talk) 21:44, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
New Main Picture?
editI noticed in interviews in recent months Bangalter has started to appear in public without any sort of attempt to keep his face anonymous. His Spotify profile picture has been changed to a drawling of his face and he stated in an article in the New York Times that he has "absolutely no desire or intentions to be a robot in 2023. There is absolutely not one reason I would want to be one.” This raises the question of whether or not we should change the main picture of this article to reflect the new direction he seems to be going in and his desire to not be associated with the Robot persona anymore. Thoughts? I personally think we should change it to reflect his wishes Chondro2390 (talk) 01:01, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- We currently do not have a free photo of Bangalter without his mask. If a free photo is uploaded to Commons, then the image will probably be replaced. reppoptalk 23:53, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
