edit- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- Hogg later became a lawyer and met Jane Williams, who had been a close friend of Percy Shelley's shortly before his death. Confusing, does this mean Hogg met Williams shortly before Shelley's death - or that Williams became a friend of Shelley's shortly before Shelley's death?
- He found his work there incredibly boring. "incredibly is a weasel word here.
- At the same time Shelley often sent him letters tempting him to leave York and come to visit Elizabeth in person. Hogg opted to send her a lengthy letter rather than attempting to meet her in person repetitious phrases, better to rewrite.

- OK, in view of the comment below, I will not be listing. Give me a shout when you have got this into better shape. The Backlog Elimination drive should mean shorter waiting times for a while. Jezhotwells (talk) 22:12, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
