Assessed as start. To improve the article, more of the text should be related to specific sources, a wider range of sources on the main subjects life should be used and page refs should be given where facts are specifically referenced. There is no apparent mention of military career, so must also fail on coverage as a MILHIST article.Monstrelet (talk) 14:57, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hate to do this, but his father died in 1483 and he was the first child out of 5. I’m looking at the biography of Catherine Parr by Susan James. She states he was 37 at the time of his marriage to Maud Green in 1508. So that would be about 1471. Anyone have a better date? Lady Meg (talk) 08:53, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
