Supermax
editShould point out that this type of prison (which critics call ‘torture’) is a substitute for the death penalty. Advocates for the death penalty point out that expanding it for more types of murder would allow supermax closure. Suggest that some of these viewpoints be included, with references, as the ‘supermax’ issue is associated with the late Silverstein. 2A00:23C7:E284:CF00:F15B:1636:2FE0:CA89 (talk) 23:09, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- It may be associated with him, but ancillary facts about the confinement belong in those articles, eg the supermax article. No need for them in this article. Anastrophe (talk) 04:22, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- This is a biography, not an article about some debates about the prison. Niteshift36 (talk) 18:21, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
