Thomas Stevenson (designer) → Thomas Stevenson — To revert recent move. Based on incoming links and page views, this Thomas Stevenson appears to be primary topic. — Station1 (talk) 07:09, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

- Support move - seems the primary usage of Thomas. And the author appears to be primary usage of Tom. Dab page sorts out the others. But if this Thomas cannot be moved back to being the primary usage, I would move to "Thomas Stevenson (engineer)". "Designer" sounds like fashion, not lighthouses! PamD (talk) 08:40, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Support - agree with both of PamD's comments. I feel sure that he would not have been called a designer in his lifetime.--JBellis (talk) 11:35, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Support both, revert to primary topic, and if not, the article be renamed "(engineer)". MURGH disc. 12:38, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. I'm doubtful that there's a primary topic, see Talk:Tom Stevenson (author)#Requested move. Probably the disambig should be at the undisambiguated name. Andrewa (talk) 22:56, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Support Thomas Stevenson v. Tom Stevenson is differentiation enough for us; not even his son called this subject Tom. We can consider the now-defeated member of the Pennsylvania legislature if he becomes more notable than he is. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 04:42, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
