Thomson's predatory moves to buy and control as many local newspapers as possible, then to bolster ad revenue while squeezing as many underpaid journalists to work without adequate compensation, are responsible, in part, for the emasculation of Canadian (and other) newspapers. Why wikipedia would have an entry about Thomson Corporation but not Thomson newspapers is beyond me. 64.229.175.109 (talk) 14:53, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
