- Support. As originator, I would prefer that the article title be spelled correctly....Throbblefoot 23:49, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
*Support. Just read the article. It almost completely mimics the rule book and easy to understand. I would like to see the house rule called the "Fellowship" explained in the article. (Djmclaughlinjr (talk) 08:11, 18 March 2012 (UTC))

The image is huge
editI'm happy to see how much work you've put into this article, but I really think the image is too big. If it were placed farther down the page, it wouldn't be soo distracting, but at it is, it dominates the page. Can you please replace it with a smaller one? Thanks,Throbblefoot 23:43, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
Image shrunk, as you requested. Thanks! Csc14us 05:22, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- Excellent- thanks! Throbblefoot 21:53, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Weaker and Stronger has a numeric value?
editI've been looking at the rules and cards, and haven't found any evidence that "weaker" means "weaker than 7" or that "stronger" means "stronger than 8." The Occam's Razor interpretation of the rule book is "a dragon whose strength is less than the strength of the card just played." For example, say I play a Green Dragon with Strength 2. You choose whether to give me five gold or an evil dragon of weaker strength. If you choose to give me a dragon, it must be an evil dragon with strength 1. Commenting the definitions out for now. Thanks, Throbblefoot 07:55, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- This was a rule my friends misinterpreted from the rule book, which I never bothered to check up on. Closer inspection of the rulebook verifies you are right about the interpretation of "weaker" and "stronger." We have simply been misplaying this aspect of the rules. Thanks! - We also had problems with that rule, and I'm glad to help others play! - Throbblefoot 07:36, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
The "munchkin" element
editThe rulebook states on page 4 that cards in hand should be kept hidden from the other players whereas this wikipedia entry states that "players keep their hands secret from the other players". After playing the game with some friends that specialize in finding game loopholes we found that the distinction is quite significant. Despite the fact that I would prefer the wikipedia article's interpretation, I am afraid that the rules of Three-Dragon Ante don't prohibit people from revealing their cards/strategy/intent to other players. I had hoped that Rob Heinsoo would include clearer language in the next version of Three Dragon Ante since I consider it a fun game both in and out of D&D. Any thoughts?
Fair use rationale for Image:3 Dragon Ante.JPG
editImage:3 Dragon Ante.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Repetition
editHow many times does it have to be said that "Only dragons count in special flights but house rules can allow three mortals to be played as a color flight called a fellowship."? NightlyG (talk) 07:52, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
Legendary Edition coming July 2019
editI'm not totally familiar with the product, but it seems that WizKids is releasing a "Three Dragon Ante: Legendary Edition" product in July 2019. Rob Heinsoo made a blog post here explaining more about what it contains. This article should probably be updated accordingly. V2Blast (talk) 03:35, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
