They still perform as a sextet, and released 5 albums with new material after 1973. How could they have broken up "soon after"? It makes no sense.

If the band wasn't active until 1968, when the Beatles were already major celebrities, how can their use of a Lennon/McCartney song be one of the earliest hits for these songwriters, as this article implies?

Yeah, that obviously needs to be revised.

Location

If memory serves, the band was formed in Modesto, CA. Does anyone have any info to back this up? --PhantomTrogdor 13:50, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Guitarist Michael Allsup grew up in Modesto. However, Three Dog Night was originally formed by the three lead singers, who already had a contract with Dunhill Records in Los Angeles when they began looking for backing musicians in 1968. Reunion

Why is there a blurb about UK Sky Television using the song "Joy to the World" (from before the breakup) in the middle of the "Reunion" section? New Album? (in regards to 2007-present section)

1. On their official site, there is nothing about a compilation type album released in 2008. Last one was 2004, the 35th anniversary with symphony orchestra. 2. Says they recorded new material in 2007? If so where is it? What is it called? The "source" is just one sentence that is not even a source. i have removed this line:

This unsourced claim seems unlikely, and I can't find any verification of it. Can anyone supply supporting info on this? Trishm (talk) 08:08, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Lead Vocal Credits

I added the Lead Vocal Credits section as I believe some fans might want to know out of curiosity who sang what, assuming they don't know already. All of these are easily verifiable on live YouTube videos of the original lineup, so there's no need for citations, but if somebody has a problem with it & deletes it, I'll spend an hour when I get some time & add citation links to a live video of each song, but hopefully no one is that anal to demand it, and if you are --- get a life, will ya? Regarding "Celebrate," you're correct about the order of the singers shown in the films/videos, but these are not the same as on the studio recording, which apparently features Cory, then Danny, and finally Chuck. Oct 21, 2015 | For Immediate Release: Los Angeles, CA (October 21, 2015) “It is with deep sadness and disbelief that I must report the passing of Cory Wells, my beloved band mate for over 45 years,” announced Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night. “Cory was an incredible singer – a great performer, he could sing anything.” Wells, one of the three lead singers of iconic American pop band Three Dog Night, died unexpectedly yesterday in Dunkirk, NY. Negron and rehab

"but in late '85, Negron was forced back into rehab"

This is the first reference in the article to rehab. "Forced back into rehab" implies previous visit(s) to rehab.

The article should include an earlier reference to Negron in rehab. Either that, or rewrite the existing sentence to omit "back".

I will leave this to someone who knows more than I about the band.
