Multiple throttle bodies versus a larger throttle Body

edit

I fail to see the relevance of this added section. In parts it is only stating the completely obvious in terms of application of pi and elsewhere it makes assumptions about air flow and velocity that can only come from bad physics.

i am experinece some problem in starting my car and it is due to throttle body. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.5.51.201 (talk) 22:09, 27 March 2009 (UTC) dun be so stupid dumbass —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.110.10 (talk) 19:43, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Missing Info

edit

Why don't the 72 numbered parts on the diagram have names or labels? The diagram's pretty useless without these.

Because, as the page for the image says, it's from US patent 6491020, not that I uploaded it. I wouldn't call the diagram useless, maybe it has unwanted detail in the numbers being there but I have feeling the image cannot be changed to loose these and still stay legally usable on Wikipedia. Common Problems?

edit

It would be useful is someone would add common problems experienced by throttle bodies. Does it ever need to be cleaned? Just knowing what it physically does doesn't help prevent someone from getting ripped off by a mechanic ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.132.24.165 (talk) 16:06, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Throttle Body

edit

I would like to know if the Throttle Body is considered a part of the engine in a fuel injected vehicle.Dhillman3 (talk) 19:52, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
