A point of discussion
editI don't believe this should be a disambiguation page. The primary meaning of "Throwback Thursday" is understood to be the Internet hashtag #TBT. The other uses of the term essentially derive from the popularity of that Internet trend. I believe we are better served if this article discusses the trend and its history, with cultural references to the other uses, and then have a Throwback Thursday (disambiguation) page to list all of the other meanings directly. I have written a proposed main article at User:WikiDan61/Throwback Thursday. Thoughts? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:20, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- I have no objection if there is a verifiable encyclopedic article at the basename rather than a dab page. I created the dab page because there was no such article (or even section of an article). In fact, so far as any of the uses listed at the current dab page are specific instances of the basic cultural reference and are mentioned in the article, there is no need for a separate disambiguation page. older ≠ wiser 13:25, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
A point in discussion is the fact that wikipedia is a joke. Almost anyone can edit a site and put things that are not factual on the site. Social Media, Blogs, and yes, Wikipedia. People who edit things constantly may think they are able to change people's false preconceptions on history, but finger tips (NEVER LIE) and those one day will determine all of online activity. Legal rights, are just ignored on this site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2E99:A8C0:9CA6:B945:DDB9:DF7D (talk) 01:28, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
the content
editI think the article should be based solely on Throwback Thursday, such as the usage and the history of this tag. However the content of the topic shows the information of other tags, you may want to fix this issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cailang753 (talk • contribs) 18:19, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Seconded. What's the correlation with #MondayMotivation? Daimler Ben (talk) 04:07, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
Merger proposal to include trends about days of the week (i.e. Monday Motivation)

- The result of this discussion was to merge. Benica11 (talk) 02:08, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
I created the Monday Motivation article 3ish years ago since Monday Motivation didn’t really seem to be a subtopic of Throwback Thursday. However doing a search now, I broadly agree that WP:GNG is not met for Monday Motivation. Therefore, I’m proposing for consideration that we merge its content back into the Throwback Thursday article, perhaps under a new section that covers hashtags related to days of the week, since they are somewhat related being based on a day of the week and I think there’s some encyclopedic content there.

- I have no objection to that, seems reasonable. firefly ( t · c ) 20:57, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
