Merge with Solitary thyroid nodule
editThe proposal is to merge the article Solitary thyroid nodule into this article. I'm not an expert in the matter and not qualified to perform such a merge myself. --Lambiam 17:46, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely not. Solitary thyroid nodule is a clinical entity , where thyroid adenoma is a pathological diagnosis.Solitary thyroid nodules can be a Thyroid carcinoma as well, and needs diagnostic work up. Thyroid adenoma is a diagnosed case. In general, there are many too much serious causes of solitary thyroid nodule than thyroid adenoma.
