Merge with Solitary thyroid nodule
editThe proposal is to merge the article Solitary thyroid nodule with this article. A cursory scan of the literature suggests that the main difference between solitary thyroid nodules and multiple thyroid nodules is that the former are solitary and the latter multiple, but that they occasion essentially similar examinations, prognoses and treatments. However, I'm not an expert in the matter and not qualified to perform such a merge myself. --Lambiam 17:30, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
The above was superseded by merge proposal [1].

Merge from
editI merged Solitary thyroid nodule here instead of with Thyroid adenoma. Should this article be merged with Thyroid adenoma? RJFJR (talk) 18:00, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Cancer from radiation
editWhile I agree that radioactive iodide can cause thyroid cancer, who says that the prognosis is particularly bad if radiation causes it? And is this article really the right place for nuclear accidents?
