Several changes
editI changed several parts of the article. I helped 'distinguish' hurricane ties (for building) from other 'ties'. I also have some refs about what I wrote. ~Sivart345 —Preceding undated comment was added at 22:11, 17 October 2008 (UTC).
Nails only
editI edited the suitable fasteners that can be placed in the holes of the tie. Nails only are used and the manufacturer of the tie often designates which size and/or type. Screws are not to be used due to their poor shear strength. Ksailork 18:57, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
