1885, Scientific American, T&CO Mummy Eye Necklace

edit

this is bizarre and probably needs attention from someone more familiar with Tiffany.
"A Necklace of Mummy Eyes"
The material for a unique necklace is now in the hands of (Messrs), Tiffany & Co, of New York, and is awaiting the attention of their workmen. It consists of a large collection of very beautiful mummy eyes, which were brought from Peru by Mr. W E Curtis, of the South American Commission. Are you suggesting we add this to the article? It seems undue to me. Tiffany sells many products, and we only talk about three of them. GA-RT-22 (talk) 03:29, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'll defer to other editors. Just wanted to share this bizarre article with the forum.SloppyTots ([[User talk:SloppyTots|talk

Blackpink

edit

I have again removed the part about blackpink. First, this is WP:UNDUE. Second, it's sourced to WP:RSSELF. Third, nothing has happened yet, it's just an announcement. Fourth, there is no such thing as the 2021s decade. GA-RT-22 (talk) 22:00, 22 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Article has a lot of advertising language and non-notable inclusions

edit

It's easy to acknowledge that an article on luxury goods is bound to have some fluffy wording and insignificant-but-flowery details, but much of this page is not encyclopedic. Cate Blanchett's turquoise necklace in the 2015 Academy Awards is not notable. Social media campaigns about being a for-realsies-global-citizen-do-gooder are not notable. Because of these factors I will be tagging this page as an advert. Mewnst (talk) 08:43, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree completely and thank you for working on this. I have cut some small bits here and there but the article could use a good going-over. GA-RT-22 (talk) 12:33, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
