Images are appropriately tagged; sources are reliable.

• Just a suggestion: how about including File:Palazzo Grimani di San Luca (Venice).jpg at the point where you mention it? The facades are really remarkably similar.
• "and the first story was lowered to ground level": what does this mean? What exactly was lowered? I think this must refer to the mezzanine being put in in 1952, but it's not clear.
• "Three months later, the firm filed plans for a seven-story building to the south; that site was owned by Tiffany & Co., but the store building did not occupy that space": I don't follow this; can you clarify?
• "making surgical instruments for the government during World War II": the succeeding narrative is about the 1920s so is this a typo for World War I?
• "He bought the leasehold from the Frueaoff estate and the fee from the Astor estate, obtaining $1.5 million in short-term financing": what does "fee" mean here?
• "The Gotham Hosiery Company leased the new mezzanine level in 1953. The same year, American Bleached Goods opened an office with two showrooms on the second story. Other tenants in the 1950s included Chadbourn-Gotham Hosiery": assuming Gotham and Chadbourn-Gotham are the same company, one mention is redundant.
• 'James described the building as having been designed within the conditions of sociable symmetry",': looks like a missing quote mark.

Thanks for the review @Mike Christie. I have fixed all of these issues now. The first story was initially raised slightly above ground, but it was lowered to ground level when the mezzanine was added. Tiffany's did own a lot to the south of the current building, but the store did not occupy that lot. Incidentally, I can't believe I forgot to link fee simple; given my experiences both on Wikipedia and in real life, I guess I just forgot about it. – Epicgenius (talk) 21:13, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
