Great work.
editNice tidy up job. Thanks for making Dorsey a real entry to Wikipedia! Budgiekiller
- I'm hoping to expand the articles on the books much more... I just need to reread them. -DynSkeet (talk) 21:00, August 18, 2005 (UTC)
"All of Dorsey's novels to date feature Serge Storms as one of the primary characters (although Storms does not surface until well into Orange Crush)" This is confusing - Serge is in all of the novels, including those before Orange Crush. If (haven't read this one yet) you mean that he appears late in the Orange Crush book, maybe we could rephrase?
serial killer
editSerge Storm is one of three fictional serial killers (defined by killing more than 6 people) who lives in Florida and is written about in a humorous fashion. There's Clinton Tyree, aka "Skink," Carl Hiaasen and Dexter Morgan Jeff Lindsay. Don't know if it can or should be added to this article? Nitpyck (talk) 08:46, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Entirely promotion OR article
editThis article needs additional citations of reliable sources. An author's own website is not a reliable source. A single interview with the Boston Globe is the only reliable source cited, and I would not call an interview with a biographical article's subject a "reliable" source for information on on that person. In fact, if this writer is so little known and reported on, one must question his WP:NOTABILITY. --Quisqualis (talk) 19:18, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
He's dead now
editFirst! I am the first to report that he just died as reported on some news sites like 15 minutes ago.
First! This isn't a joke or a vandalism, either, I'm just excited because this is the first time I've ever seen a celeb death report and then gotten to their Wikipedia article before anyone had added their demise to the article. Sorry. 70.165.75.121 (talk) 23:03, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
