Lack of clarity
Mr Farron 'worked in Higher Education'. Doing what? Lecturing? Administration? Auto asks - 0502Z 16 July 2015. 86.134.173.98 (talk) 05:02, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- I can't find a comprehensive answer. This says he was an academic but isn't any more specific, this says that he spent 2 years responsible for looking after students with disabilities and special needs, and this says that in the time at St Martin's College he was a senior manager. If you want a better answer you could email him. JMiall₰ 08:14, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
Tim Farron picture
Hello, I took some photographs of Tim Farron at the Any Questions? broadcast last Friday. I did put one straight up as the header image, as it is a lot better quality than the current one, but it has been reverted twice for different reasons. The first time was because the image was considered to be in an odd perspective. The second time because the previous imagine was "approved", even though there seems to be no discussion here.
The left image is the one I used. The other two are ones taken from a further physical location from Farron that might be better. The others will be of a lesser technical quality, as they will need to be cropped. JackWilfred (talk) 00:05, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- I think that the previous image is better, but thanks for uploading your pictures, perhaps they could be used later in the article? Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 15:22, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
Top picture
I have swapped over the two pics of Farron on this thread, so the most recent (2014 rather than 2008) is most prominent. It isn't the best pic though and can we invite better pics. Marplesmustgo (talk) 21:44, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

In the summary box, it states Tim Farron's religion is Church of England. This is a denomination. His religion is Christian. As a Christian currently attending a Baptist church, but having attended a C of E and a house church in the past, I like many practising Christians see denomination as an irrelevance. And more to the point, a dilution of where our faith really lies. Thank you! 86.154.193.154 (talk) 09:04, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
- Not done including denominations seems to be the standard for UK politicians, and there are certainly UK politicians that definitely don't see denomination as an irrelevance... Dtellett (talk) 22:11, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
On a point of fact, is Farron an Anglican anyway? He is currently (I think) a member at Parr Street Evangelical Church in Kendal, not an Anglican church. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.121.220.12 (talk) 11:48, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Running for office note
The talk pages of both Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May have warning notes saying that the article is about a politician who is running for office or who has recently run for office, and that, because of this, the page is at risk of biassed editing, page trolling or simple vandalism. As this article is on the leader of one of the three main parties in the United Kingdom, should this note not also appear here? Vorbee (talk) 14:17, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

Resignation
I heard on the Radio Four news tonight (June 14 2017) that Tim Farron has announced his resignation from his presentation as leader of the Liberal Democrats. If Wikipedia is going to maintain its position as a very up-to-date encyclopedia, this information could be added to this article. Vorbee (talk) 17:32, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
