Why is this redirected? Shouldn't it have its own article? Keshaanimalcannibalwarrior (talk) 22:14, 8 October 2013 (UTC)KeshaAnimalCannibalWarriorReply

why was this song written?

edit

can we have a bit of background on why the song was written? the whole idea of basing a song around the trope catchphrase "timber" is quite odd.

many articles for contemporary songs have a lot of text, but very little substance on the background, meaning, and inspiration of the song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.15.6 (talk) 08:59, 1 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 17, 2013 at number 49

edit

What? What? What? What? What? OCTOBER 17 WASN'T EVEN A DAY FOR THE HOT 100!!!!! Did you mean October 19? Did you mean October 26 (which was published October 17)? I WILL NOT BE USING WIKIPEDIA AS A SOURCE FOR CHART INFORMATION IF THIS ISN'T CLEARED UP!!!! TBWarrior720 (talk) 23:33, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Timber (song)

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Timber (song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ReferenceA":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:27, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

No objections, as long as WP:SONGDAB is observed requiring artist. User:GregKaye Changed accordingly. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:56, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Changed again. User:GregKaye are you okay with 65.'s dab? In ictu oculi (talk) 16:55, 29 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
In ictu oculi Its an arguments both ways kind of situation. I'm no advocate of concise when there is information to be presented and I think if it we Beyonce featuring J-zee that he would be mentioned. Perhaps the image search on Timber Pitbull was gives a prophesy of seeing the back of Ke$ha. A web search on Timber Pitbull sees an over 50% of Ke$ha reference but its not conclusive.

Kesha's co-lead credit

edit

Recently, Kesha was re credited as a co-lead artist on many platforms such as Apple Music[1], Spotify[2] and YouTube[3]. Does it mean we should note this on in the article and change her credit in the infobox? Similar cases have already taken place, for example WTF (YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Nicki Minaj song).
