editThe main article gives the impression that 1960's cable tv through radio rentals was only in Swindon. Actually it was all over the UK - my grannie had it during that 1961-1969 period in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, Scotland. I can confirm that it was only the standard channels, though in her case I think I remember them getting Grampian as well as STV, which was extremely hard to pull in, in that area, using an antenna. So an amazing 4 channels rather than 3. (at least after 1964 when BBC2 started broadcasting; I was 5 at the time, but I remember when it was just BBC and ITV and looking forward to Jackanory and Crackerjack before Dad got home from work and changed the channel to the BBC News...) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.124.38.160 (talk) 22:05, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
