Intrigued people throughout history
editSurely you need a microscope to see the six sides of a snowflake ?
Hence surely replace "throughout history" with "since invention of microscope in about 1590AD! Tabletop (talk) 03:11, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- While I know you posted this concern more than a decade ago, it might as well be addressed.
- It is possible for some snowflakes to be large enough to be seen with the naked eye, given the right conditions for forming.
- Additionally, While the microscope may have been invented in the 16th century, lenses and magnifying glasses have existed much longer.
