Elephant folio

edit

Inch based paper size 23 × 28 inches is called elephant, for the size of the Third generation of this atlas.--Dthomsen8 (talk) 05:09, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

No Sahara desert

edit

The Sahara Desert was omitted from the index in the 13th edition, and the name was not found in its expected location on the maps. Yet to check whether it is indexed under the Arabic name: aṣ-ṣaḥrā' al-kubrá. Lmstearn (talk) 13:50, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Error re 11th edition

edit

The article currently starts by saying "The Times Atlas of the World, rebranded The Times Atlas of the World: Comprehensive Edition in its 11th edition and The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World from its 12th edition". But my copy of the 11th edition is called "The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World" on the slipcase, dustjacket, cover, and title page, and also in the opening text of the Foreword! 2A02:C7C:52BF:6000:A4C9:8ABD:5BAA:4131 (talk) 13:59, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
