Tina Dupuy lied about Franken: her own articles in Jan 2009 gushed over getting picture with him
editJanuary 17, 2009 Dupuy posted twice about the Media Matters party where she claimed she was devastated by Franken placing hand on waist. 1st was at 8:48PM (Los Angeles time?) FBLA = FishBowlLA, a blog attentive to celebrities. She crashed the Media Matters party, named celebrities she saw, posted some picture of Franken (not archived), attached to article. Wayback copy.
Then, 22 minutes later, she posted "FBLA Meets Al Franken...and Other Politicos", Wayback copy. She posted a picture labeled tinadupuyalfranken.jpg, sadly not archived, because the image she posted in TheAtlantic is a tiny 276x204 image (odd for an iPhone, perhaps cropped. The original might be informative.).
She wrote "We got to take a picture (a crappy one from an iPhone) with soon-to-be Senator-Elect Al Franken at the Media Matters party.
And yeah, we are totally stoked about that. So suck it.
We also met (and got our picture taken with - but we'll spare you the grainy horrible photo) political consultant and former President Bill Clinton adviser Paul Begala.
Plus we talked with Christopher Hayes the Washington editor of The Nation and frequent guest of Keith Olbermann on Countdown...mainly about Al Franken."
She wrote further articles & tweets positive about Franken during 2009. --JohnMashey (talk) 07:55, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
