A place in Wikipedia for etymology of meaning-ambiguous words (of which there are many in a natural language)

I always have to laugh/cry when I see an edit like this, because of the reasons discussed here. For now, I'm talkifying the valid information that would otherwise be obliterated by that edit. Eventually it may be moved to a home where it is accepted. — ¾-10 22:37, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Tioga" is a form of the the Native American "Tei-ho-hogen" or "Ti-ogh-sah-ron'-de", meaning "a place where streams empty themselves", referring to the forks thus made.[1]
