T.66 Tipsy Nipper is not right; it is not a USAF trainer. Not sure if it should be Tipsy T.66 Nipper or Tipsy Nipper T.66 (CAA use latter), or indeed if the T.66 is really a Tipsy number or a Slingsby one, only applicable to the MkIII (or 3). Nipper is the aircraft's name, not its nickname. Also Tips may well have referred to his grandchild as the nipper, but that is a common, friendly word for any small child, as well as for anyone one or thing that is quick or nippy, so I'm not sure it's relevant.TSRL (talk) 23:38, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
