Edit war / picture
editI suspect the picture used in this article is not of Tirésias Simon Sam but of François C. Antoine Simon. Please refer to this gallery. Ridodfer (talk) 04:38, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Name confusion
editSome places have his full name as Paul Augustin Tirésias Simon Sam, while others have Tirésias Antoine Auguste Simon Sam. So far, I have found no evidence for "Paul" and "Antoine" usages in his name. Key find however, letter to secretary of state has the name Augustin (Tirésias Augustin Simon Sam) opposed to "Auguste" which is most likely incorrect because of this find by "The New York Public Library Digital Collections." - Paul birth-name confirmed, but apparently not used officially. Le Nouvelliste, a very prominent newspaper in Haiti confirms the name [1] but lists "Augustin" after the name Paul opposed to being "Paul Tirésias Augustin Simon Sam" like the other sources suggest. Also, an the official letter was listed as Tirésias Augustin Simon Sam, which would seem to eradicate this error. Savvyjack23 (talk) 18:08, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
Photo
editI removed this photo from Tirésias Simon Sam because I believe it's actually François C. Antoine Simon. The person depicted on this page is probably Tirésias Simon Sam. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 17:18, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
