Multiple title pages
editSome books have more than one page with the title on, often one with just the title, and another either more ornate or with the author, publisher etc. on it too. Are both of these title pages, or are the separate terms to distinguish between the two? --xensyriaT 08:54, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Just found half title, and added it to the see also section. --xensyriaT 09:03, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
Title pages of chapters
editSome books have something like a frontispiece for each chapter. Is there a name for that? An example is here for Perspectiva Corporum Regularium (1568). The first is for the book, the others are for chapters. A modern example is The Neverending Story (search "neverending story initials"). Greetings, Watchduck (quack) 15:04, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
