Tito v Jackson
editI think the use of 'Jackson' throughout the article to refer to Tito Jackson should be changed to 'Tito', as the article mentions 'Jackson 5' and 'Jacksons' a few times and it could be confusing to the reader. The use of 'Tito' would make it much clearer. Danielcohen 02:40, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Whitewash
editI think this article seems to hold back. It has been recorded in several biographies that Tito Jackson's father did, in fact, "whoop" him for borrowing his guitar, and hit the other boys as well. The best book would probably be J. Randy Taraborrelli's Michael Jackson: the Magic and the Madness which may not be the most flattering MJ bio, but it certainly isn't tabloid trash like, Unauthorized; and based on the miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream that they are willing to admit that there were punishments beyond "little spankings."
I totally agree, this is a widely known, very important story and fact. The story of Tito secretly borrowing Joes guitar and then accidently breaking a string is very well known. It was this incident that led to Joe discovering that his sons had talent and started working with them everyday. This really should be mentioned as it plays an important role in the Jackson 5 history, as well as Tito's. Zdawg1029 (talk) 21:31, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Grandchildren
editAny particular reason someone removed the list of Tito's grandchildren from the page? How is that not part of his personal section, it's his family. I would be willing to bet if Tito himself came on here and edited the section of his personal life, or any section for that matter, you wikipedia nazis would delete it crying that it isn't sourced. It wasn't even me that put it there but it's common knowledge amongst anyone who follows that family.Zdawg1029 (talk) 21:35, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- I not sure they are at all notable to identify here. I have always had a problem adding this type of info as per Privacy of names and as per Relationships do not confer notability . If we were to add them we should apply what is set-forth by Privacy of personal information and using primary sources. But again i dont think they should be add as per links provided.Moxy (talk) 20:22, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Death hoax
editA hoax internet rumour of Tito's passing had been trending on 25th April 2014. This has been confirmed as a hoax by several sources. With God's watchful eye, Tito will be with us for many years to come and grace us with more wonderful music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.30.108.84 (talk) 01:47, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

Tito and Marlon
editSome of the wording needs to be changed, because saying that Tito and Marlon rarely sang background harmonies with Michael, Jackie and Jermaine until later in their Motown career can give the impression that only Michael, Jermaine and Jackie were involved for most of their recordings, which obviously is untrue.
The individual song pages credit all five brothers as participating, so perhaps you can word it to "Tito and Marlon rarely sang lead vocal parts until later on." 194.193.215.201 (talk) 05:28, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
