Titular (Catholicism) → Titular in the Catholic Church – Per WP:CONSISTENCY with equivalent "X in the Catholic Church" articles, ultimately per Catholic Church. PPEMES (talk) 13:43, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

• Leaning oppose per a much broader WP:CONSISTENT principle: consistency with the larger category of religion articles in general; and per WP:CONCISE. Instead, consider mass-RM of "in the catholic Church" articles to "(Catholocism)". If there's a good reason to not mass-move for CONCISE compliance, then I will buy the nom's CONSISTENT-within-the-subcategory argument and support the move.  — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼  09:04, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

@Srnec: For your information, a merge was proposed at Talk:Titular church but rejected. PPEMES (talk) 23:40, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

• Oppose but move to Titular (Catholic Church). The WP:CONSISTENCY would be with other title pages related to Catholicism, in particular Cardinal (Catholic Church), Priesthood (Catholic Church), Bishop (Catholic Church), and Holy Orders (Catholic Church). So there should be a disambiguator, but it should be "(Catholic Church)" which also matches the outcomes of this and this. Note, however, that unlike SMcC, I wouldn't support a wholesale move of all "in the Catholic Church" articles. Those are best handled case-by-case, where natural titles like Mass in the Catholic Church work, but unnatural titles like Titular in the Catholic Church don't work IMHO.  — Amakuru (talk) 15:52, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
